Terms and conditions
Who you are contracting with, when the contract is formed, what it costs and what you are owed.

1. Who you are dealing with
Ideal Commerce Trading Ltd., a company registered in Ireland (CRO 684512), registered office 14 Harbour Row, Dublin 2, D02 XY45, Ireland. VAT registration IE 4821567KA. E-mail support@ideal-commerce.example · Telephone +353 1 555 0142 (Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:30 IST, charged at your normal rate — we do not operate a premium-rate number, which Article 21 of Directive 2011/83/EU prohibits for customer contact about a concluded contract).
These terms apply to consumers resident in the European Union. They do not affect your statutory rights, and nothing in them is to be read as excluding or limiting a right you have under mandatory consumer law.
2. How a contract is formed
Displaying a product on this site is an invitation to treat, not an offer. Your order is the offer. The contract is concluded when we send you the order confirmation, which happens immediately after you press “Order with obligation to pay”. That button is labelled in those words because Article 8(2) of Directive 2011/83/EU requires the ordering control to be marked unambiguously with them or an equivalent formulation — a button reading “Submit” or “Continue” would not bind you at all.
You receive confirmation of the concluded contract on a durable medium (Article 8(7)): a document you can download from your order page, store unchanged and reproduce later.
3. Prices
- Every price shown anywhere on this site is the total price including VAT at the Irish standard rate of 23%. There is no point in the journey where a price goes up because tax was added.
- Delivery costs are stated on the product page, before you add anything to a basket, and again in the basket and at every checkout step.
- There is no service fee, no handling fee and no payment surcharge. Article 19 of the Directive forbids charging more than the cost we actually bear for a given means of payment; we solve that by charging nothing.
- Price reductions are announced with the prior price required by Article 6a of Directive 98/6/EC: the lowest price we applied in the 30 days before the reduction, stated as an exact figure. Where we show a manufacturer’s recommended retail price it is labelled as such and is never presented as a price we previously charged.
- We may change prices at any time; the price that applies to your contract is the one displayed when you ordered.
4. Payment
Payment methods are listed at payment methods and shown at checkout. Card details are never entered on this site. Where you choose bank transfer, we hold the goods for 7 days pending receipt.
In this reference storefront no payment is ever taken and no order is ever dispatched.
5. Delivery
We deliver to all 27 EU member states. Costs and times are at delivery and costs. Risk passes to you when you, or a third party you name who is not the carrier, take physical possession of the goods (Article 20). If we fail to deliver within 30 days, or within any period we agreed with you, you may require delivery within an additional reasonable period and, if we miss that too, terminate the contract and be reimbursed in full (Article 18).
6. Your right of withdrawal
Set out in full at right of withdrawal. In short: 30 days, no reason needed, we pay the return postage. You can also withdraw from the contract online, using the withdrawal function at ideal-commerce.example/withdraw, which is linked as “Withdraw from contract here” in the footer of every page and from your order page. If you use this online function, we will send you an acknowledgement of receipt of the withdrawal on a durable medium without undue delay, including its content and the date and time of its submission. The model withdrawal form remains available and remains optional.
7. Legal guarantee of conformity {#guarantee}
We are liable to you under the legal guarantee of conformity in Directive (EU) 2019/771 for any lack of conformity that exists at the time of delivery and becomes apparent within two years of delivery. For the first year, a lack of conformity that appears is presumed to have existed at delivery unless we prove otherwise.
Where goods are not in conformity you are entitled, in this order, to:
- have them repaired or replaced, free of charge, within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience; and if that is impossible, disproportionate, or we fail to do it,
- a proportionate price reduction or termination of the contract with a refund.
This guarantee is free, is separate from and additional to your right of withdrawal, and is not affected by any commercial guarantee. You do not need proof of purchase beyond your order number.
8. Complaints and disputes
Write to support@ideal-commerce.example. We acknowledge every complaint within one working day and answer substantively within 14 days. If you are not satisfied, see complaints and dispute resolution for your options, including alternative dispute resolution — which is free to you and which we take part in.
9. Governing law
Irish law governs these terms. That choice does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer-law provisions of the country in which you are habitually resident (Article 6(2) of Regulation (EC) No 593/2008). You may bring proceedings against us in the courts of your own country of residence.
10. Changes
We may amend these terms. The version that governs your contract is the one published when you ordered; a copy travels with your order confirmation, so a later change cannot alter what you agreed to.
